About Us

Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis met in Chicago while studying and performing improv and sketch comedy at the world-renowned Second City, iO, and Annoyance Theaters. It was kismet at first laugh. Nicknaming each other Jon (Alex) and Eddie (Rachel) after their entertaining fathers, Alex and Rachel’s friendship and comedic partnership grew through their complementary humorous stylings and love of food. After leaving Chicago, Alex and Rachel made their way to Los Angeles, where they performed improv and sketch comedy as THE JON AND EDDIE SHOW.

Once in LA, the duo sold their original series, THE CRAFT STORE to Fremantle Media, and expanded into writing for television. Since then A&R have written for shows on Apple TV+, HBO Max, Disney, Amazon, Dreamworks, and PBS. They have also sold a variety of pilots to HBO Max, Nickelodeon, Disney, and Nerdist Industries. Most recently, Alex and Rachel have been working in development on two projects – a musical sitcom for Disney with Diane Warren attached to write the music. And the other, a comedy about what would happen if Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and Aquaman all went to high school together, with Bill Lawrence/Doozer, Elizabeth Banks/Brownstone, DC, and Warner Brothers for HBO Max.

Alex and Rachel have been nominated for three Emmys. They are also proud 2020 graduates of the prestigious WGA Showrunner Training Program and schedule all their writing meetings around food.
